The ISKF offers a training programme open to all pilots, judges, field directors and national officials to support the development of sport kiting worldwide.
Training formats
Our training is offered in several formats to meet the needs of all members, whatever their level or location.
Online training
Online modules can be accessed anywhere in the world. They allow everyone to train at their own pace, without having to travel.
Video resources
Instructional videos complement the training materials. They present the rules, the figures and the main procedures used in competition.
Quarterly meetings
The ISKF holds four meetings a year, open to all members. These meetings are an opportunity to review changes to the rules, federation news and upcoming sporting events.

The rules evolve regularly. These sessions keep you up to date with the latest changes to the different competition formats: Full Format, Kite Master Show and Tricks Party.
Tricks Party: figure review
This session is devoted to the official list of Tricks Party figures. It covers how to identify and perform them, and the assessment criteria used by the judges.
International judge validation
The ISKF trains and validates judges who wish to officiate at international competitions. The programme covers the rules, the scoring criteria and the ethical principles that apply to the role.
Building competition teams
Support is offered to national federations and team captains to prepare and build the teams entered in ISKF international competitions.
The kite.vote app
This session shows how to use the ISKF's official scoring app. An essential tool for judges and field directors, it allows scores to be entered in real time and results to be displayed instantly.
